Component: EQUIPMENT:RECREATIONAL VEHICLE:LPG LINES AND FITTINGS
Potential Number Of Units Affected : 18
Summary: ON CERTAIN FIFTH WHEEL TRAILERS, PROPANE LINES WERE INCORRECTLY POSITIONED DURING MANUFACTURING AND DO NOT HAVE SUFFICIENT CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE FLOOR OF THE SLIDE ROOM AND THE OUTSIDE WALL OF THE SLIDE ROOM.
Consequence: THE COPPER LINES MAY GET PINCHED WHEN THE DOOR SIDE SLIDE-OUT IS RETRACTED. THE LINES COULD BE DAMAGED AND LEAK PROPANE RESULTING IN A FIRE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL RELOCATE THE LINES AND A STOP WILL BE ADDED TO PREVENT THE LINES FROM BEING DAMAGED IN THE FUTURE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MARCH 20, 2006. ALL VEHICLES ARE LOCATED AT DEALERSHIPS AND HAVE NOT BEEN SOLD TO CONSUMERS.
